About the Funky Name
|
Why Nyte Byte? The name is derived for two reasons: One, it's a simple pun. Puns either make us writhe in agony or snicker with delight, but in either case a "punny" name, or any other name that deviates from the commonplace, is more likely to be remembered. |

Two, it is at night (hereafter known as "nyte")
that Nytebyte has its foundation. Those of you who are married and
have an extra set of hands around might not be aware
that parenting is an extremely time-consuming job. The only time available
to develop ideas and work uninterrupted is at nyte, after work is done and the kids
are in bed. Nearly all the HTML, programming, artwork, and text for this site and
all the other jobs done by Nytebyte were created between the hours of 10PM and
2AM the following morning. It might not be deep or intellectual, but that's about it: moving the bytes throughout the nyte. |
