RC's come and go in our household at the rate of about one a month, but these chillen' will stay! My wife's and my rides, carefully built over the years, a source of lots of fun for us. From left to right: My RC 10GT nitro, my wifes RC 10 GT nitro, and our two original RC 10T's. |

Far Left, My GT: Originally an RTR kit, upgraded to a
Picco .12 RC Speed non pull-start powerhouse, anodized blue exhaust
header, anodized blue
CVEC dual exhaust, FMA 100 oz./in. - .33 sec.steering servo, Futaba S9402
111 oz./in.- .10 sec throttle servo, motor saver air cleaner, MIP shiny
CVD's on 1/4" axles, anodized blue shocks, Associated blue titanium
turnbuckles, RPM H.D. Ball ends, Pro-Line edge 95's up front, double
step pins in the rear. Note that the rear right tire is blown on my GT. We just got off the track before taking these pics. MAN the Picco is a rocker! :-) Second Left, Her GT: Originally a tub chassis kit, upgraded to a the team chassis with an OS CV Max .12 non pull-start with anodized purple head, anodized purple exhaust header, Anodized purple CVEC single exhaust, FMA 100 oz./in. - .33 sec.steering servo, Futaba S9402 111 oz./in.- .10 sec throttle servo, stock Associated air cleaner, MIP shiny CVD's on 1/4" axles, anodized blue shocks, Associated blue titanium turnbuckles, aluminum tranny brace, Pro-Line edge 95's up front, double step pins in the rear, RPM H.D. Ball ends dyed - of course - purple. |
Second Left 10T # 1: My original 10T, I've had this for over
10 years. Black anodized worlds chassis with Associated protective sheet on bottom
(the chassis is nearly unscratched,) currently running stock motor, stealth, full
bearings, MIP shiny CVD's on 1/4" axles, original gold anodized shocks
(I always use horsewrap and these shocks have only been rebuilt maybe 5 times in
the last 10 years,) Dynamite mini receiver, Tekin TSC P-12 ESC, Futaba S9402
111 oz./in.- .10 sec steering servo, Lundsford titanium turnbuckles,
graphite tranny brace, pink Pro-Tech velcro battery strap,Race Prep battery and
motor connectors, we run 1500, 1700, and 2000 maH nicad matched packs,
and all plastic components except the steering parts
(for dramatic effect! :-) )are natural or dyed black. Far Left 10T # 2: This is a carbon copy of #1 except we still haven't cut the bread for titanium turnbuckles, the MIP CVD's are black, the servo is a high speed Airtronics 94738, and the ESC is a Tekin G-12. The most unique hop-up on these 10T's are the two graphite chassis braces that go from the shock tower to the chassis just rear of where the nose tubes attach, with a brass cross-tube just ahead of the battery box. This eliminates the one Achilles heel of the 10T, chassis flex. When you try to twist these chassis it's like twisting a steel bar, they won't budge. The handling is amazing with these braces on. |
