Our Offroad Track | I tried for weeks to get pics that represent this track but it doesn't to photograph very well. The images below with the track lines best demonstrate the terrain, but there are versions without them as well. In all the images below, click them to see a larger version (about 600 pixels wide.) |
| The whole track is on a gently descending slope. This is one of the cool features of this track. It works it's way up and down the hill and has some twists and turns you normally wouldn't get out of a flat terrain. | |

| There are basically three layouts: the oval with a hairpin at the top, one in which you pull a hard left after the two big jumps on the south and hook around the telephone pole, and one in which you go to the left immediately after the big turn ("turn one.") If you hook it around the pole on either of the alternate layouts, there are two washboard jumps coming up the hill into the top turn. | |

| Composition is hard clay, there are very few soft loamy areas at all. As you can see we have installed a small watering system. :-) We run nitro GT's and 10T electrics on this track. This track was ENTIRELY dug with a John Deere rototiller, shovels and rakes. Remember: CLAY! to say cutting this track was difficult is an understatement . . . if you've ever read or seen Pet Sematary and remember the part where he has to bury the cat, that came to mind many times while cutting this track, it was hard as rock with rocks EVERYWHERE! We are still clearing pebbles but almost have it all clean. | |
| So you wanna see what we run on this track . . . | |
